American
Trendsetters built three homes featured in the Avenue of Dreams home
showcase. The company constructed the homes at 58 Lakeland Drive, 35
Cypress Creek Drive, and 44 Hickory Bend, in Cabot.
American
Trendsetters Owner Trevor Smith said the company participated in the
Avenue of Dreams "because of the [public] exposure and the
donation for the Open Arms Shelter." All ticket proceeds for the
Avenue of Dreams will be donated to Open Arms Shelter, a safe haven
for neglected or abused children.
Over
the course of 30 years, Smith’s company Texas Trendsetters
constructed over 250 homes in Abilene, Austin, Memphis, and other
cities throughout the southwest region of the country. In 2004, Smith
moved to Arkansas, and his company became American Trendsetters.
Lakeland
Drive is located in the North Magness Creek subdivision. Hickory Bend
and Cypress Creek Drive are both in Greystone.
