Cabot's
second annual Avenue of Dreams
was
held on July 8th & 9th as the 2006 Cabot area builders
Home Spectacular ended on another successful note. Show hours
were from 10:00 AM through 7:00 PM
on Saturday, July 8 and from 11:00 AM through 6:00 PM on Sunday, July
9.
Tickets
for the tour were $10.00 and could be purchased in the Kroger parking lot July 8th &
9th. Look for the hot air balloon! A goody-bag was given with each ticket purchased during the show weekend, along with a
map to all of the show homes located throughout Cabot.
Advance
tickets were available at all Community Bank and First Security Bank
locations, the Cabot Star Herald office, and at the door of the Idea
House (on preview weekends).
100%
of the ticket proceeds were be dedicated equally to the Open
Arms Shelter for abused and neglected children in Lonoke and to Cabot's
Lonoke County Safe Haven, helping victims of domestic
abuse. The ticket sales generated a total of $16,232.02 with
each charity organization receiving $8,116.01.
