AVENUE
OF DREAMS 2007 GRAND PRIZE WINNER
Peggy Wright of
Jacksonville
promised her husband, ‘If I win the lawn tractor drawing, I will
give it to you.” Mrs. Wright made good on her promise in the
lobby of First Security Bank on Friday, July 27, as she gave the
keys to the teal-painted John Deere Tractor to her husband,
Charles, immediately after being awarded the grand prize from the
third annual Cabot’s Avenue of Dreams.
Wright’s
name was drawn from 1,062 tickets of those who had visited over 10
homes during the two-day event July 14 and 15. Attendees from over
65 cities and towns came to Cabot to tour 15 show homes from the
areas best builders and decorators. Local charities, Lonoke County
Safe Haven and Open Arms Shelter, received 100% of the ticket
sales and special event proceeds. Each charity has received a
check in the amount of $8,700.01.
